Ya Shi Xiang Dancong


With its unattractive name, Ya Shi Xiang, or "Duck Poop Fragrance", is one of the most exquisite varieties of Dancong. Its less famous name, Yin Hua Xiang, means “Silver Flower Fragrance” certainly does more justice to its graceful and floral flavor. A feature that made it a celebrity among the extended Dancong family, in which there are several hundred different varieties.

Large leaves with a dark green color, with light green and rust shades. Large presence of small twigs.


Dry: Very fruity aroma with notes of peach and apricot, dry vegetable notes of hay, and spicy nutmeg notes. Also present is the roasting aroma.
Wet: Floral notes of geranium and orchid, vegetal notes of hay and cooked beets, very intense.


Liquor with a delicate sweetness, of a homemade sour donut, with extremely intense floral aromas of orchid, daisy, geranium. Notes of dried apricots and dried plums. Very mineral and developed even in the deepest notes, with hints of dry earth and leather. Long and quite intense aftertaste, with floral and sweet notes.
