Among the most famous Taiwanese oolongs, Dong Ding, whose production area includes the homonymous mountain village located in the central part of the island of Taiwan, has always been characterized by its indistinguishable flavor given by its roasting.

Leaves rolled up in small spheres, so-called "dragonfly heads". The color is dark brown with lighter brown veins.


Smell:

Dry: Floral and oily notes of butter
Wet: Vegetable notes of burnt wood, still present the air of butter


Taste:

The delicate dry orchid-like floral notes are the masters. Followed by notes of cote herbs supported by a toasting air that vaguely recalls burnt wood and toasted nuts. There are also spicy notes of black pepper and cloves. Everything is presented in a harmonious framework packaged with a marked creaminess.
